The institution was established to train officers for the Nigeria Arm, Navy and Air Force combining military training and academic education.
The university does not accept non-military or civilian students rather it accepts qualified Nigeria citizens who are willing to undergo military training and meet the admission requirements.
NDA Acceptance Fees
To get admission into NDA ,you must meet the admission requirement and you will pay an acceptance fee of 20,000 (twenty thousand naira only), this confirms that you automatically become a recognized student of the university.
Note: This payment does not cover departmental or faculty fees. It is fixed until any other fee which is departmental or course based.

NDA school fees
If you’re a fresher, returning or postgraduate,one rule is certain schools are not the same amount.
For NDA freshers ,you are expected to make a payment of 50,000(fifty thousand naira only).
Also this amount covers your accommodation,feeding,tuition only.Even other fees which include departmental,faculty or levy fee are all course based.
For returning student: Returning student pays a sum of #30,000 naira only and it also cover accommodation, feeding and tuition even other levies is course based and the student is expected to pay.
For postgraduate
In the 2025 academic session,NDA school fees for postgraduate is #150,000 (one fifty thousand naira only) with a payment of #10,000 for application form and #30,000 non refundable payment for acceptance .
Note: Levies like medical,sports,identity and development fees are paid separately by every student of the institution.

Is NDA a boarding school?
Yes, According to the commandment Major General John Ochefu Ochai “All cadets reside on campus throughout their training”
How much is the registration fee for NDA?
The registration fee for 7,000 only.
How long is NDA training in Nigeria?
The institution practice 4 years academic training and one year of military training.
